Stamens or staminodes: lateral staminode toothlike or subulate, lateral staminodes adnate to labellum and forming a 3-lobed labellum, lateral staminode absent or very short

Filament: present, short or absent

Connective: forming a reflexed crest

Ovary: 3-loculed, placentation axile

Style: stylodes massive

Stigma: well expanded, clavate, genulate

Fruit: globose, dehiscent, indehiscent

Seed: angled, arillate
