Blades up to 2 mm wide, smooth. Panicle contracted at first, soon effuse, loosely spikeled, branches ascending to patent, smooth, the lowermost longest 3.5-6 cm long. Spikelets 1. 5-2 mm long. Lemma (1.2-)1.4-1.75 mm long. Trichodium-net absent ; callus hairs 0.25-0.3 m long; awn absent. Palea 0.6-0.85 mm long, 0.4-0.57 times as long as the lemma. Anthers 0.8-1.1 mm long, 0.55-0.73 times as long as the lemma.
