Ischaemum aristatum var. aristatum
芒穗鴨嘴草
Culms usually creeping at base, rooting at nodes, then ascending, slender, glabrous, 40-60 cm tall; leaf blades linear-lanceolate, 12-20 cm long, 5-7 mm wide, glabrous or slightly puberulent; sheaths shorter than internode, glabrous, sometimes with long cilia on margin near mouth; ligules membranous, rounded 1-2 mm wide. Racemes paired, 3.5-5.5 cm long; rachis joints thick, 3-angled, flat on one side; spikelets paired, about 6 mm long, lower glume of sessile spikelet coriaceous towards base, smooth, upper 1/3 longitudinally ridged, broadly winged, finely ciliate on edges; lemmas awned or awnless, if awned the awn straight and with a twisted base.
