    Note: Naturalised plants of the English citron (cédrat in French, not citron) were observed and collected by Perrier de la Bâthie, but was not then known in cultivation. Recent reports suggest that it is know grown for the essential oil trade, but these have not been confirmed, nor have naturalized plants been recollected.
