Shrubs. Transection of stem circle, stellate. Leaves simple, entire, narrowly oblong to lanceolate, 20-78 mm long, 9-27 mm wide, apex acute or obtuse, base cuneate, decurrent, pubescent or glabrous; petiole terete, stellate, 2-14 mm long. Inflorescences solitary, terminal; peduncle short or obsolete, 3-9 mm long; sepal 5-6, velutinous, 3-5 mm long, 1.3-1.6 mm wide; corolla white or mauve, petal 5-6, velutinous, 3-6 mm long, 2-3 mm wide. Stamens 5-6, filaments glabrous, 0.5-1 mm long, anthers glabrous, 1.8-2.8 mm long, 0.5-1.3 mm wide; Pistil 1, style glabrous, 3-5 mm long, stigma division 1. Fruit orange, glabrous, 8-14mm long, 9-13 mm across; fruit pedicle 7-11 mm long; sepal persistence upward. Seeds 2.3-2.6 mm long, 2.1-2.5 mm across
