Stems decumbent to erect. Leaves ternate or pinnately lobed; leaflet blade oblanceolate to elliptic, sometimes 2-3-parted, margins entire. Pedicels spreading or nodding. Flowers: sepals 3, lanceolate to ovate-lanceolate; petals 3, shorter than sepals; nectary glands antisepalous; stamens 3 or 6; ovary 3-lobed. Fruits mericarps, ovoid-globose, tuberculate or rugulose (especially distally). x = 5.
