Voitia hookeri Mitten
Plants 3-6 cm. Leaves ovate-lanceolate. Seta strongly twisted immediately below capsule. Capsule oblong-ovate, symmetric or slightly curved, gradually narrowed to seta, basal ridge absent, smooth or nearly so. Calyptra sometimes split, often sliding down on seta, base not hyaline. Spores 7-11 µm.
Capsules mature fall. Coprophilic; moderate to high elevations; Alta., N. W. T.; Alaska, Colo.; Europe; ne Asia.
