Leaf blades orbiculate, obovate-orbiculate, or broadly rhombate, 1-4(-6) × 1-4(-6) cm, base round-ed or tapering, apex rounded, apiculate. Tepals 3-4 mm. Utricles 2-2.5 mm.
Flowering summer. Dry, sandy waste places, near woolen mills; 0-100 m; introduced; Ala., Fla., La., S.C.; Asia.
