Leaf blades ± cuneate-obovate, 10–20 × 3–12 mm, proximally cuneate, distally ± incised, 3–5(–7+)-toothed.
Flowering Sep. Open rocky slopes; 1800–2500 m; Ariz., N.Mex.; South America.
Ipomoea cuneifolia Meisner 1869, the later homonym I. cuneifolia A. Gray 1883, and I. plummerae var. cuneifolia apparently all refer to the same taxon.
