Plants large. Stems long, branches few or absent. Leaves distinctly falcate-secund, 1.5-2.5 mm; apex long-acuminate; medial laminal cells elliptic, corners rounded, usually longer than wide, prorulae indistinct.
Capsules mature Jun-Aug. Mineral soil, soil over boulders and outcrops; moderate to high elevations (600-2100 m); B.C.; Calif., Idaho, Oreg., Wash.
