Tracy’s clarkia

Godetia cylindrica Jepson var. tracyi Jepson, Fl. Calif. 2: 584. 1936

Flowers: petals pinkish laven­der, base red, unspotted, 20–30 mm; stigma exserted beyond anthers. 2n = 28.

Flowering May–Jul. Wood­lands, serpentine soil; 100–500 m; Calif.

Subspecies tracyi is known from the Inner North Coast Ranges, mainly in Colusa, Lake, and Napa counties, less commonly in Humboldt, Mendocino, Sonoma, Tehama, and Yolo counties.
