紅花羊耳蒜

  • Ophrys nervosa Thunb.

    Terrestrial. Stems cylindrical, fleshy, 5-7 cm long, enclosed by leaf sheaths. Leaves usually 2, ovate to ovate-elliptic, 5-7 cm long, 3-4 mm wide, more or less plicate, apex acute. Peduncle and rachis 10-15 cm long, slightly winged; bracts small, triangular, 2-5 mm long; pedicel and ovary green or purplish, ca. 1 cm long. Flowers ca. 10, perianth spreading, greenish or purplish; dorsal sepal oblong, 8-9 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, revolute, obtuse at apex, 3-nerved; lateral sepals spreading horizontally or slightly descending, falcate, 6-7 mm long, 2.5-3.2 mm wide, obtuse at apex; petals linear, 8 mm long, 1 mm wide; lip obovate, 6.5 mm long, 5 mm wide, base suberect, cuneate, curved downward from near middle, apex truncate and slightly emarginate, entire or slightly denticulate, disc with 2 small calli at base; column arcuate, pale green, 3.5-4 mm long, with inconspicuous wings at apex, wings rounded, without acute apex; anther greenish, nearly orbicular, 1.2 mm across. Capsules ellipsoid, 1-1.5 cm long, pedicel 0.5 cm long.
