長葉竹節蘭

Terrestrial. Stems nearly erect, 35-50 cm long. Leaves alternate, nearly perpendicular to stem, lan-ceolate-oblong, 5 cm long, 1.3 cm wide, apex acuminate, obliquely 2-lobed, base contracted, twisted; sheaths tubular. Raceme to 1.5 cm long, with ca. 10 flowers; bracts ovate, 4 mm long; pedicel and ovary 5 mm long. Flowers white, perianth not spreading; dorsal sepal ovate, 4 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, obtuse, 3-nerved; lateral sepals obliquely triangular, acute, connate at base and forming short mentum; petals oblong or elliptic, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, obtuse, 1-nerved; lip pandurate-oblong, 4.5 mm long, 3 mm wide, base saccate-concave, joined with foot of column and forming sac, slightly widened from middle, recurved at tip, disc with ligulate hirsute appendage from middle toward base, also with 2 small ridges at recurved point and small pointed callus at apex; column with foot ca. 3.2 mm long; anther erect, elongate cordate, rostellum triangular, bifid; pollinia narrowly clavate.

TAITUNG: Lanyu Is., Lin 364.

Endemic, known only from Lanyu Is., forests of Tashenshan.
