    Rhizomes stiff, long creeping, terete, 2 mm in diam. Pseudobulbs 2-6 cm apart, ovoid, often sulcate, 1-2 cm long, 0.8-1.5 cm wide, with one leaf at apex. Leaves short petioled or nearly sessile, oblong to linear-oblong, thick-coriaceous, 5-10 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, apex retuse, base cuneate. Scapes erect or flexuous, from base of pseudobulb, slender, yellowish green, with minute violet spots, 7-12 cm long, with 2 scales near middle; bracts lanceolate, 3 mm long; pedicel and ovary slender. 1-1.2 cm long, green but often with blackish red dots. Flowers ca. 10, umbellate, pale yellow, with dark red lines along veins, 1.2 cm long; dorsal sepal concave, ovate, 4.5-5.5 mm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, acute, 3-5 nerved, ciliate; lateral sepals often connate, lanceolate, 12-15 mm long, 3 mm wide, 5-7 nerved, acute at apex, oblique at base, margins incurved; petals ovate-elliptic, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, 3-nerved, acute at apex, shortly ciliate; lip red above, yellow below, thick cornuform, 2.5 mm long, strongly recurved, acute at apex, disc with 2 short ridges near base; column yellow, with violet spots, semiterete, 1.5 mm long, with 2 short stylids at apex, base with a strongly recurved foot ca. 2 mm long; anther operculate, 2-celled; pollinia 2 ovoid-ellipsoid, with unequal connate partitions. Capsules fusiform, ca. 2 cm long.

    Endemic. Common in broadleaved forests at 1,000-2,000 m throughout the island.
