Dendrobium furcatopedicellatum Hayata, Icon. Pl. Formosan. 4: 39, f. 14. 1914. ; Liu & Su, Fl. Taiwan 5: 961. 1978.

雙花石斛

Stems tufted, stiff, straight, 30-70 cm long, 2 mm in diam., leafy in upper part; internodes ca. 3.5 long, loosely covered with leaf sheaths. Leaves linear, 10-12 cm long, 4 mm wide, apex acuminate, base slightly contracted, 3-nerved, articulated with tube-like sheath. Cymes lateral on leafy part of stem, 2flowered; peduncle 1.3 cm long, with 1 or 2 tube-like bracts at base; pedicel 1 cm long, divaricate at angle of 80 degrees. Flowers yellowish, ca. 3 cm long; sepals lanceolate-linear, 3 cm long, purple dotted outside, apex revolute, filiform, mentum 5 mm long, more or less recurved; petals as long as sepals, narrower; lip 3-lobed, terminal lobe triangular-lanceolate, fimbriate-denticulate, disc pilose.

Endemic. Collected once at Maisha by Hayata and Sasaki in August 1912, but this specimen has not been found.
