  • Saccolabium fuscopunctatum Hayata

    Stems 2-10 cm long, prostrate or pendulous. Leaves oblong or lanceolate, often more or less falcate, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 4-5 mm wide, apex acute, often with a sharp back seta, or minutely 3-fid; both surfaces green, often densely brown punctate. Racemes 1-2 cm long; peduncle slender; bracts minute, scale-like, less than 1 mm long; pedicel and ovary 6-7 mm long. Flowers often 2, yellowish green, brown punctate; sepals elliptic, 3-4 mm long, 2 mm wide, obtuse, lateral ones slightly oblique-falcate; petals obovate, 34 mm long, 2 mm wide, rounded at apex; lip with a compressed cup-like sac and a small small terminal limb, sac 4-5 mm tall, truncate at base, limb whitish, with a yellow patch dotted with brown at center, semiorbicular, 2 mm across, glabrous, without callosity; column short, 2 mm long; anther cap ovate to rhombic, 1.8 mm long; pollinia 0.8 mm across, stipe slender, 2 mm long; viscidium tape-like, 1 mm long. Capsules fusiform or obovoid, 1.5-2 cm long, sharply 3-ridged, densely brownish purple punctate.
