Terrestrial herbs 40-60 cm tall. Pseudobulbs subterranean, ovoid, ca. 1 cm long, 8 mm wide. Leaves 3-4, suberect, linear-oblanceolate, 16-30 cm long, 1-1.5 cm wide, apex acute, base decurrent, membranaceous, glabrous on both surfaces. Peduncle nearly twice as long as leaves; bracts triangular, 4-6 mm long, acuminate at apex; pedicel and ovary 1 cm long, slightly curved. Flowers ca. 10, loosely spaced; dorsal sepal oblong-lanceolate, 9 mm long, 2 mm wide, 6-nerved, acute at apex; lateral sepals oblong-ovate, 5.5 mm long, 3 mm wide, 5-nerved; petals linear-oblanceolate, 9 mm long, 1.3 mm wide, membranaceous, 3-5-nerved; lip rather thick, oblong-elliptic, apex with 2 lobules and cuspidate sinus, cuneate at base; disc papillose; column arcuate, 5 mm long, with short truncate wings.

Endemic, only in the central part of the island.
