Stems usually pendulous, inconspicuous, concealed by leaf sheaths. Leaves 5-8, distichous, linear-ensiform or elongate triangular, 5-20 cm long, 8-15 mm wide, upper ones larger, decreasing in size toward base of stem, apex acuminate, base gradually dilated, articulated with sheaths. Racemes terminal, pedunculate, 15-20 cm long, flower arranged in a cylinder ca. 8 mm in diam.; bracts triangular-lin-ear, 2.5 mm long, glabrous. Flowers numerous, pale green or orange, 2-3 mm in diam.; sepal spreading, subequal, 1.5 mm long, dorsal one ligulate, 1 mm wide, obtuse, lateral sepal ovate, 1 mm wide, acute; petals elliptic or obovate, as long as sepals, 0.5-0.8 mm wide, obtuse; lip rectangular, 2 mm long, 1.3-
1.5 mm wide, 3-lobed, lateral lobes auricle-like, 0.5 mm long, erose or irregularly denticulate, central lobe more or less rectangular, 1.4 mm long, 2-lobulate at apex, lobules elliptic-triangular, 0.7 mm long, obtuse at apex. Capsules ellipsoid.
