Pseudobulbs obliquely ovoid to short cylindrical, 1.5-2.3 cm long, ca. 1 cm thick, with 2–3 internodes. Leaves ovate to ovate-lanceolate, 3-7 cm long, 1.5-33 cm wide, acuminate, green and sometimes furnished with purple on upper surface, purplish on lower surface, denticulate-undulate on margins, petiole 2-6 cm long, purplish. Peduncle 10-20 cm long, purplish; rachis 5-8 cm long, glabrous; pedicel and ovary green-purplish, 5-8 mm long. Flowers opening widely, somewhat facing downwards; sepals lin-ear-oblong, 4-6 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, brown-violet but turning green toward margins; petals similar to sepals, slightly narrower; lip ca. 5 mm long, midlobe oblong, 3 mm long, lateral lobes orbicular, irregularly undulate, spur 10-12 mm long, yellowish white; column terete, 3.5 mm tall; anther ovate-orbicular.
