Rhizomes terete, ca. 2 mm in diam. Pseudobulbs tufted or 1-2 cm apart, ovoid-conic, 1-3 cm long, 1-1.8 cm wide, greenish, glabrous. Leaves subsessile, oblong, 8-18 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, apex obtuse or rounded, base cuneate and attenuate into a canaliculate petiole; petiole 1-2 cm long. Scapes pale green, 10-20 cm long, 1 mm in diam., with 2 minute scales toward base; bracts lanceolate, 5 mm long; pedicel and ovary ca. 1 cm long. Flowers 3-5, in an umbel-like raceme, greenish yellow to pale yellow, tinged with purple; dorsal sepal lanceolate, 15-18 mm long, 3-5 mm wide, acuminate-caudate at apex; lateral sepals connate or divericate, linear-falcate, 25-35 mm long, 2 mm wide, acuminate at apex, oblique at base, more or less incurved; petals purplish, falcate, 5-6 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, oblique at apex; lip yellow, tongue-shaped, 4-6 mm long, curved, articulated with foot of column; column ca. 2-3 mm tall, with 2 large truncate stylids in front, foot slender, 4 mm long; anther cordate, 2-celled; pollinia in 2 groups, ellipsoid, 1.2 mm long.
