Stem 2-5 cm long, enclosed by equitant leaf sheaths. Leaves 4-10 or more, regularly distichous, 1-3 cm long, 3-5 mm wide, apex acute, base not articulated. Raceme 3-8 cm long; bract ovate-lanceolate, 1.5-2 mm long, entire; pedicel and ovary 1.3-1.8 mm long . Flowers many, whorled, ca. 2-3 mm apart, orange, spreading, ca. 1.5 mm in diam.; sepals ovate, 0.6-0.9 mm long, 0.3-0.6 mm wide, obtuse, lateral ones slightly wider; petals oblong, 0.6-0.9 mm long, 0.4-0.6 mm wide, obtuse; lip orbicular, 3-lobed, 0.9-1.2 mm long, 1 mm wide, lateral lobes triangular, 0.5 mm long, entire or margins inconspicuously serrulate, central lobe larger, orbicular or squarish, 2-lobulate, lobules separated by a wide obtuse or truncate sinus, triangular, 0.1-0.2 mm long, sinus sometimes with a small tooth; column board, ca. 0.2 mm long; anther yellowish or nearly white. Capsules obovate, ca. 3 mm long, pedicel 1-1.5 mm long.
