Plants 20 to 35 cm high. Tuberoids ovoid or fusiform, 1-2 cm long. Stem leafy near ground, sheathing below. Leaves 2-3, closely clustered, oblong-lanceolate or oblanceolate, 5-8 cm long, 1-2 cm wide, apex acute. Peduncle straight and slender, rigid, 5-20 cm long, with 3-4 scales; rachis 5-10 cm long; bracts ovate, 7-9 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, acuminate; pedicel and ovary lying close to rachis, 8-10 long. Flowers dense, perianth not opening widely, greenish; dorsal sepal concave, ovate, 3-4 mm long,(mm) 1.5 mm wide, apex obtuse; lateral sepals falcate-oblong, 3-4 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, apex acute; petals ovate-lanceolate, 3 mm long, 1.5 mm wide, apex acute, contracted at base; lip 3-lobed, 5 mm long, lateral lobes parallel to central one, linear, 2-3 mm long, central lobe ligulate, 1.5-2 mm long, apex obtuse, disc with large rounded callus at center, spur ovoid, 1.5 mm long, with narrow mouth on lip-base; column ca. 1 mm tall, with small auricle on both sides; anther cells 0.8 mm long, rather close; pollinia obovoid, 1 mm long, caudicle 0.3 mm long, viscidia oblong; stigma shortly clavate, adnate to base of lip, surrounding mouth of spur; rostellum narrowly triangular, with short or obscure lateral arms.
