Thrixspermum neglectum Fukuy.
Stems 1-4 cm long. Leaves few to many, distichous, oblong, 2-5 cm long, 8-15 mm wide, divaricate from stem at 45 degrees angle, apex acute or minutely bifid, base articulated with sheaths; sheath 4 mm long, many nerved. Peduncle axillary, suberect, 5-7 cm long, less than 1 mm thick, with minute scales basally; scales triangular; rachis not distinctly dilated; bracts triangular, 1-2 mm long; pedicel and ovary 2.5-4 mm long. Flowers whitish, perianth not widely spreading; dorsal sepal elliptic or obovate, 4 mm long, 2.5-3 mm wide, obtuse at apex, cuneate at base; lateral sepals broadly elliptic, 5 mm long, 4 mm wide, slightly oblique; petals similar to lateral sepals, obtuse at apex, contracted at base; lip whitish, often tinged with yellow, saccate at base, 3 lobed, ca. 3 mm long, 7 mm wide when expanded, lateral lobes erect, apex subfalcate ligulate, crenate, midlobe semiorbicular or triangular, 2 mm wide, +/- denticulate; disc with 2 revolute tube-like calli from base, these ending in a tuft of yellow hairs, also with 2 small tonguelike appendages at base of midlobe; column ca. 1 mm long, with a foot 1.5 mm long; pollinia yellow.
