  • Hetaeria integrilabella (C. S. Leou) S. S. Ying

    Terrestrial herbs. Stem erect or ascending from short creeping base, to 18 cm long, 0.3-0.5 cm in diam., glabrous, fleshy, light red brown. Leaves more or less rosette, ovate oblong or ovate elliptic, 2.4-7.0 cm long, 1.5-3.1 cm wide, apex acute, base obtuse, entire at margins, glabrous, green but with one silver white band along midrib and often with 2 fine silver white lines along two lateral veins near apex; petiole 0.5-1.7 cm long, light purple. Peduncle to 15 cm long, tomentose, light purple, with 2-3 bract-like glabrous sheaths; spike 8-14-flowered; floral bracts ciliate at middle or upper margins. Flowers half-opened, glabrous; sepals unequal, light brown, concave, dorsal one elliptic, 5.5 mm long; lateral ones oblong, 5.0 mm long; petals white, falcate, 1-nerved; lip white, undivided, rhombic, 6 mm long, 4 mm wide, not connate with column; column 2.5-2.8 mm tall, with low ridge transversely elevated at middle part; anther 2.2 mm long, cap ovate oblong, 1.5 mm long, theca cylindrical; pollinia 1.3 mm long; stigma 2, lateral; rostellum erect, ca. 1.2 mm tall, tegula stipe 1.3 mm long, ventricose; viscidium ovate oblong.

    Endemic, broadleaved forests, 1,000-1,800 m, in the central part of island.
