- Accepted published species: 5 endemic

- Estimated total species: 5 endemic

- Indigenous species endemism: 100%

Note: We follow the broad view of species circumscription taken by Hoffman and McPherson, however we note that several of their species overlap geographically, and morphological characters are not always clear-cut. Certain species require re-evaluation in the light of the available new material. McPherson (pers. comm. 2005) suggests that the genus may eventually be united with Wielandia.
