  • Orthosiphon brevicaulis Baker

    Distribution: Endemic to Madagascar

    Bioclimate: Humid

Note: We exclude some material cited by Hedge, notably the specimens cited from Andasibe, and Lam & Meeuse 5647 from Soanierana-Ambahoabe. Material from the southern part of the species range, near Ifanadiana, is somewhat different, but we maintain it within the concept of the species for the present. The recently described P. rosulatus from Marojejy Reserve is clearly closely related to P. brevicaulis.
