Note: Widespread and variable sp., material the Northern Mountains (Anjaniharibe-Sud, Marojejy and Manongarivo) is somewhat different from the type (from Analamazaotra) and other specimens from mid-elevation on the eastern escarpment. Material from Ranomafana and nearby may belong here, but lacks mature fruit which is needed to confirm its placement.
