Filipendula camtschatica (Pall.) Maxim.
Flowering plant up to 3 m. Basal leaves kidney-shaped, 3-5 lobed, up to 30-40 cm broad, stem leaves trilobed, smaller. Inflorescence cymose, of numerous minute white flowers. V - April to October. Fl - July or August. Fr - August or September. P - rhizome division and seed sown in autumn. Does well in places with sufficient soil moisture. Cold-resistant. Good for group planting in tall herbaceous borders. Z 4 (3).
Far East (Sakhalin, Kuril Islands and Kamchatka) and Japan. In meadows, frequently along rivers banks.
