川滇翅茎木 chuan dian chi jing mu

Shrubs, ca. 1 m tall. Stems terete, ca. 5 mm in diam., shoots densely pilose. Leaves sessile, linear-elliptic, 3-5 X 0.3-1 cm, densely puberulent, base cuneate, margin entire, apex acute. Lower bracts similar to upper leaves, gradually decreasing in size upward. Pedicel to 3 mm, pilose. Calyx 1.3-1.5 cm, puberulent, lobed to middle; lobes subulate-deltoid. Corolla yellow or pale pink, ca. 2 mm longer than calyx; middle lobe of lower lip acute at apex, lateral lobes lanose in 2 vertical patches and apex rounded; upper lip galeate, margin entire. Ovary ellipsoid. Style hairy.
