Stems often 1, 10-60 cm tall. Leaf blade margin dentate. Racemes usually elongated, very rarely capitate. Pedicel to 6 mm. Calyx lobes to 8 X 2 mm. Corolla tube 1/3-2/5 of corolla length. Capsule 5-7 X 3.5-4 mm. Style 0.7-2 mm. Fl. Jun-Aug.
