腺萼蝇子草 xian e ying zi cao

Herbs perennial. Stems supine, 25--40 cm, multibranched, densely short glandular hairy, sometimes glandular hairy apically. Leaves ovate-lanceolate to lanceolate, 1.5--3 cm × 5--12 mm, both surfaces densely pubescent, margin glandular hairy, 1- or 3-veined, base rounded, apex acuminate. Dichasial cymes 3--10-flowered, lax. Pedicel 1--2.5 cm, slender, glandular villous; bracts lanceolate, 8--10 mm, pubescent. Calyx tubular, 1.4--1.5 cm × 4--5 mm, truncate at base, slightly constricted above, glandular villous, longitudinal veins dark green; calyx teeth narrowly lanceolate, ca. 5 mm, shortly glandular hairy, margin shortly ciliate, apex acuminate. Androgynophore ca. 3 mm, glabrous. Petals white or pale red; claws cuneate-oblanceolate, ca. 1 cm, glabrous; auricles triangular, margin entire or slightly erose; limb narrow, ca. 5 mm, bifid to 1/2, lobes entire or laciniate. Stamens and styles prominently exserted. Capsule ca. 8 mm. Seeds not seen. Fl. Jul--Aug.
