Rachis and pinnae with dense rust-yellow soft short hairs on adaxial side.
Forests beside streamlets; 200-900 m. Guizhou, Hainan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang [India, Myanmar, Vietnam].
The young frond is edible.
