Small trees, epiphytic when young. Leaf blade elliptic to ovate-elliptic, one side wider, 8-13 × 4-6 cm, ± leathery, abaxially slightly coarse, glabrous, base broadly cuneate, margin entire, apex obtuse to acute; secondary veins 5-8 on each side of midvein. Figs axillary on normal leafy shoots, solitary or paired, globose to globose-pear-shaped, ca. 1 cm in diam., slightly rough. Fl. and fr. winter to Jun.
