Pedicels 3–10 mm. Hypanthium 10–12 mm, abaxially glabrous.
Valley slopes and mixed forests; 1000--2500 m. Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi Shaanxi, Sichuan, Yunnan.
