Leaf blade 2.3–3 × 0.8–1.4 cm; abaxial surface with thin, discontinuous indumentum. Ovary predominantly glandular. Fl. Jun, fr. Oct–Nov.

Alpine Rhododendron thickets; 3300–4200 m. SE Xizang, NW Yunnan.
