T. Lee; S. trifolia var. sinensis (Sims) Makino. 
Tubers 5-10 × 4-6 cm. Leaves large, middle lobe broadly ovate, apex obtuse. Inflorescences with 3 whorls of branches at base, each whorl 3- or more branched. 
 
 
 
Cultivated S of the Chang Jiang.
