Plants usually diffuse. Stems slender, ± woody, many branched basally; branches long, decumbent. Leaves opposite or pseudo-opposite, oblong-lanceolate, pinnatisect; segments linear. Flowers axillary, pedicellate. Calyx lobes usually 5, longer than calyx tube. Corolla tube more than 2 X as long as calyx, slender; galea much dilated apically with 2 teeth at margin, usually abruptly constricted into a beak; beak straight, slender.
