扁果枫组 bian guo feng zu

Trees evergreen. Leaves undivided, leathery, abaxially blue or snow white, margins entire. Bud scales 7-11-paired. Inflorescences axillary from leafless buds, cymose-paniculate. Flowers unisexual, androdioecious, sometimes andromonoecious, 5-merous. Stamens 4-12. Disk amphistaminal or extrastaminal.

Two species: Cambodia, China, NE India, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam; two species in China.
