(the only extant collection of this taxon is a collection at the Sodiro Herbarium (QPLS) labeled merely Pichincha, 7/1903 but it must serve as the lectotype. Anthurium livescens Sodiro, Anales Univ. Centr. Ecuador 17: 337. (1903). Type: Pichincha: at confluence of Río Toachi and Río Pilatón, Sodiro s.n. (G).
