Description from Flora of China 
Stem 11--30 cm tall, spreading puberulent, simple or 1-branched distally. Leaf blade 3--7 cm wide, base cordate; primary lobes separate for at least 75% of blade radius; central lobe rhombic or rhombic-cuneate, 1--3-dentate, distally 3-lobulate, apex acute; ultimate lobules narrowly triangular to linear; proximal leaves not withered. Raceme 6.5--16 cm, 3- or 4-flowered, yellow glandular puberulent or retrorsely puberulent; bracts lanceolate. Pedicels 2.5--5 cm; bracteoles borne near middle of pedicel or distally, narrowly linear or lanceolate-linear, 4--9 mm. Sepals blue, abaxially pilose; spur cylindric, ca. 2.2 cm, straight or slightly recurved, base ca. 3 mm in diam.; other sepals ca. 1.5 cm. Petals 2-lobulate, ciliate. Staminode limb narrowly ovate, 2-lobed, sparsely white barbate. Filaments pilose. Carpels 3; ovaries densely puberulent. Fl. Aug.
