Callicarpa salicifolia P'ei et W. Z. Fang

Shrubs ca. 2 m tall. Branchlets terete, grayish yellow, purplish, or purplish brown stellate tomentose when young, glabrescent. Leaf blade narrowly lanceolate to lanceolate, 5-14 X 0.8-3 cm, both surfaces subglabrous but midvein subglabrous to sparsely stellate tomentose, abaxially dark purple glandular, base broadly cuneate to subrounded, margin sparsely serrate, apex acuminate. Cymes 1-2 cm across, dense purplish black glandular; peduncle ca. 5 mm; bracts small, linear. Calyx cup-shaped, truncate to subtruncate, glabrous. Corolla purple, ca. 3 mm. Stamens ca. 5 mm; anthers oblong. Ovary sparsely gray stellate tomentose. Fruit globose, ca. 2 mm in diam. Fl. and fr. Jun-Nov.
