Mimulus nepalensis Bentham, Scroph. Ind. 29. 1835; M. assamicus Griffith; M. formosanus Hayata; M. tenellus subsp. nepalensis (Bentham) D. Y. Hong ex H. P. Yang.

Stems suberect. Pedicel nearly as long as whole leaf. Calyx cylindric, ca. 1 cm or longer, apex truncate.

The combination Erythranthe nepalensis (Bentham) G. L. Nesom (Phytoneuron. 2012-39: 40. 2012) appeared after publication of the family treatment for the Flora of China.

Beside water, wet places; 500-3000 m. Gansu, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Xizang, Yunnan, Zhejiang [India, (Assam), Japan, Nepal, Vietnam].
