Description from Flora of China
Leaf blade to 15 X 12 cm, apex obtuse. Bracts to 18 X 6 mm. Calyx segments outside white puberulent.
After publication of the family treatment for the Flora of China,
this was treated as Primulina brachytricha var. magnibracteata (W. T. Wang & D. Y. Chen) Mich. Möller & A. Weber (Taxon 60: 781. 2011).
* Rocks in forested valleys; ca. 700 m. SE Guizhou (Libo Xian).
