Description from Flora of China
Shrubs scandent. Branches pubescent. Leaves opposite or in whorls of 3 or 4; petiole 1-2.5 mm; leaf blade narrowly elliptic, 2-2.5 X 1-1.5 cm, leathery, abaxially glabrous, base acute, apex acuminate; lateral veins inconspicuous. Cymes fascicled, terminal, less than 2 cm. Sepals ovate to triangular, 2-3 mm, pubescent. Corolla tube 4-5 mm, pubescent; lobes obliquely ovate, ca. 2 mm. Stamens inserted above middle of corolla tube. Ovary glabrous. Fruit with 1-4 articles; drupes ovoid, ca. 6 4 mm. Seeds ovoid, hairy.
