Plectranthus megathyrsus Diels, Notes Roy. Bot. Gard. Edinburgh 5: 230. 1912; Isodon forrestii (Diels) Kudo var. megathyrsus (Diels) Kudo; Rabdosia megathyrsa (Diels) H. Hara.
Plants ± densely pilose, sometimes intermixed with glandular pubescent or puberulent hairs.
* Fir forests, pine-oak valley forests; 2300-3500 m. Sichuan, Yunnan.
