Stems not angled, wingless. Fl. Jul-Sep, fr. Sep-Jan.
On trees or rocks in forests, streamsides, grassy slopes; 900-2200 m. NW Guangxi, SW Guizhou, SE Xizang, S and W Yunnan [Bhutan, N India, N Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, N Vietnam].
