Perianth azure to dark violet, segments 1--7 mm wide, not connivent proximally into a pseudotube. Fl. Apr--Jun.
Valleys, sandy places, waste grasslands. N Xinjiang [Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Russia, Turkmenistan].
