Description from Flora of China
Leaf blade ovate or elliptic-ovate, base cuneate or broadly so, apex acute or acuminate. Calyx tube with tufted hairs only between lobes. Petals oblong-obovate, 1-1.5 × 0.7-1 cm. Disc and style villous. Fl. Jun-Jul, fr. Aug-Oct.
