Ficus lacrymans H. Léveillé, Fl. Kouy-Tchéou, 431. 1914–1915; F. botryoides H. Léveillé & Vaniot (1907), not Baker (1887); F. kwangtungensis Merrill.

Shrubs, procumbent or scandent. Petiole ca. 5 mm; leaf blade green, whitish green to yellow green when dry, lanceolate-ovate, 4-8 × 2-2.5 cm, ± leathery, base cuneate, apex acuminate to caudate; veins flat on both surfaces, secondary veins 5 or 6 on each side of midvein. Figs axillary on leafy or on leafless branchlets, paired, globose, 5-9 mm in diam., glabrous or sparsely pubescent.

Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan [N Vietnam].
