Leaflet margin obtusely 3–6(or 7)-crenate on each side, Style base thickened, papillate. Fl. and fr. Jun–Aug.
Alpine thickets, meadows on mountain slopes, marsh margins; 2500--3200 m. Jilin, Nei Mongol, Shanxi, Xinjiang [Japan, Korea, Russia; Europe, North America].
